Joining technologies

One of the main focuses for Il Sentiero International Campus, in collaboration with Ecor International, is the study of special processes and joining technologies most suitable and functional for the realisation of a product.

In most cases, the study passes through experimental campaigns carried out using state-of-the-art welding and brazing equipment available to Il Sentiero and Ecor. In this way it is possible to identify and develop joints that meet the requirements of the customer in terms of mechanical, thermal and sealing performances, as well as aesthetic or functional. The subsequent non-destructive and destructive tests on the simulacra make it possible to quantify the soundness of the realised joints, evaluating the quality level in relation to the applicable specifications of the customer.
The decennial experience gained in this field has allowed Il Sentiero International Campus and Ecor International to forge collaborations with the most important customers in the food, pharmaceutical and aerospace industries, being involved from the preliminary phases of the projects to define the most suitable technologies for the realisation of critical products. Il Sentiero International Campus is also able to manage in an autonomous and verticalised manner all the analysis, verification and design activities of industrial products, with the contextual definition of the production process.
